Staying in your hometown vs. Moving away....what did yall do?

My dads in the navy so I've lived in 5 different states and 2 different countries. I can't go back to Japan or most states and be like wassup. Cuz everybody else done moved too.

My family is from Atlanta and I go to school in Georgia. Atlanta was always the only place I could go to and know I got family there. So it ain't my hometown but it feels more like home than any other place.

Moved out years ago.
There are no jobs in my hometown. I would have to have a 100% telecommuting job, or I would have to start my own company where business is dependent on customers who are elsewhere and not local. My hometown is almost ghost-town mode.
I do like my hometown because it is small and everything is nearby.
