mad props,....

this is one of my favorite remixes ever!
i still do not own it, in digital.
if you find it,...could you up a link.
this thread takes me back,....had to get a whoop out like one of the youngsta sightings in this vid!!

smh,..at the youngsta's being realer than weezy.
weezy is lucky, he came up with who he did and when he did.

back then, jamal from illegal.
still to this day was the only grownup.
who made a real respected transition to being an adult artist.

I remember being a kid when I first saw this video. Its crazy how the cartoon characters were dancing on beat. I don't dance but seeing Steady and the french soldier cartoon characters swinging makes me want to get up and move too. This video was classic. Like they dont make videos like this no more. When rap videos didn't need t*ts and azz to get and hold your attention.

I didn't know 3xDope had issues with Steady and Cool C. It's crazy how one can forget that Philly had a admirable history in HipHop before B.Sigel, State Prop, and Meek Mill. Will Smith might be more famous than Jay, although not for the same reasons, but he's still a HipHop legend. Even the High and Mighty, two white dudes, I still zone out to some of their music.

Edit post: Whatever happened to Schooly D?

Rap fukks up relationships. They was all cliqued up together. 3 Times dope found out they was being ripped off by their manager, so they left their management team but Hilltop Hustlers stayed with them, and that caused the riff. Then they dissed each other.

Last I heard from Schoolly D, he was still doing the narration and the music for the cartoon "Aqua Teen Force" on the Cartoon Network. I'm pretty sure he still is

Funny story behind record. Allegedly, KRS came to Philly and tried to front on Steady B and his people and wound up getting pistol whipped and chased through the Adams Mark hotel on City Ave. They squashed their beef and came together and did that song.
