Got NWO, waiting on further drops on the two Dark Souls, Pillars of Eternity and Football Manager. Keeping my eye on some other stuff like the Ys games and some Telltale stuff, dunno if I'll buy though.

Is there any info regarding the steam controller as to what the drivers/hardware internally are? I am assuming it will be picked up as an xbox 360 controller by games to ensure maximum compatibility, but I can't find anything on that.

I think it can work a few different ways: it can do xinput, it's own API, or it can emulate a mouse/kb
edit: I think people need to realize that it's not meant to replace a xbox 360/one controller, as there's no need for that. it's meant to be a controller for PC games that traditionally haven't been playable with a controller

I've always stayed away from Fallout 3 on PC because it has this warning:
I'm sure it's fixable, but I just don't wanna jump through whatever hoops to get it to work right

If you have windows 7 or later you going to have to jump through hoops to get Fallout 3 to work.
I run windows 8.1 and it was a bytch to get it running...
Modding it is borderline out of the question...anything more than texture packs and NPC reskins just crashes the game every 10 to 15 minutes...
It will work fine in a Windows XP virtual machine though
Somehow I'm level 400+ on that Monster game. By the end of the sale I'm gonna be level 2000+. Oh well, cooler badge 
edit: nevermind. It made me start a new game. i guess level 400 is the last. I wanted a better badge

I'm not really sure to be honest. All I know is I'm gonna use it with my steam link (though I wish the link went past 1080p, as I plan to have a 4K tv by then).
It might go lower, but 66% off is a lot. I bought scholars already cuz it was such a good deal. I don't see these going lower, but you never know. Stranger things have happened.
watch dogs is on sale, but I recommend the evil within over it at $15.
