Imagine if Bell didnt get in.

How do Vick and the Steelers just so happen to lose 18 seconds on the tying/go ahead drive

I'm trying to figure out how Pitt had a timeout left before the final play though.
Didn't they only have one left before the pass to Heath to get them to the one yard line? Did they not call a timeout there?
They never used there last time out, after the Vick run, they spiked the ball, then the clock stopped cuz of the defensive penalty, they never used their last timeoutI'm trying to figure out how Pitt had a timeout left before the final play though.

Helmet to helmet penalty, moved the ball from the 1 yard line to the half inch line (half distance to goal) AND stopped the clock.

ended up costing the Chargers
18 seconds and a chance >>>>. 0 seconds and no chanceNot sure they're scoring a TD in 18 seconds
If they needed a fg...maybe![]()
Didn't realize penalty stopped the clock there
Was that a bullshyt call? Pitt might not go for it without the TO handy. That play call was terrible by Pitt lowkey, but they called it with every intention of calling timeout and kicking a FG if he was stopped
They don't have that luxury without an extra timeout

I thought the play call was risky as hell. Would have went with a Vick QB sneak.
However, if you watch the replay on the penalty (goal line play) The flag came at 8 seconds. However, the clock went down to 5 seconds anyway.
So the clock was against them all game....they deserved the last play call to work in their favor.
