Step in XBOX360 Heads, HARDDRIVE QUESTION

So I just bought a Xbox 360 slim model and I downloaded GTA San Andreas. However, it is only a 4GB harddrive and It wont allow me to play it without a larger harddrive.


Heres my question... Can I buy a

Xbox 360 8GB USB Flash Drive or do I need to buy a 250 GB harddrive? Difference of 75$ so Im trying to figure this out brethren...

Do not buy the Xbox 360 branded 8gb shyt is mad overpriced. Just get a 16gb sandisk or some other brand for 12-20 dollars

It will run off a third party memory stick. You just have to format it.

Co-sign. This is what I did for my 4gb. Works perfectly. I still ended up getting the 250 GB in the long run though (16 GB fills up fast).

The fans and/or the dvd drive. You can quiet the dvd drive by installing games on the hdd (or a memory stick if your like the OP). The fans... you honestly want to be loud with the way those things overheat. Turn up the a/c and dont let your cat sleep on the xbox. Seriously make sure its in a well ventilated location with nothing resting on it (no dics, game boxes, controller, nada). I think standing it upright helps also.

u can take the old xbox harddrive from the white xbox 360, take the cover off until u just have the metal drive and that can be used in the new 360.

and yes most usb sticks u can install and run games off of

Got the 250 gb hard drive and I don't even bother playing games without installing them.
