@Walt killin this thread :damn:

I dont think SAS said "nikka", but that still doesnt let him off the hook for all the other cringe worthy stuff he's said in the past couple years. And I used to be a fan of his. Had he kept it about sports, I probably would still be.

To me, SAS is a phony. He's like a dude you meet in the barber shop who keeps it real.....but then you see him out in another setting and he's backtracking on all that stuff he said to appease whatever audience he's talking to.

And if a race topic comes up, he'll offer the "black mans opinion on he subject", BUT he'll never put himself in the position of being the lone voice against white ppl....he'll word it so that he can make a point that white ppl will still agree with. ie, something like.......

Stephen A : "Quite frankly, I'm disgusted at what Riley Cooper said. It's inexcusable, tasteless, and out of bounds..."

(now instead of leaving it right there, at a point where many even most white ppl would even agree, he has to double back cover his tracks just in case there's any white ppl who don't fully agree with him)

Stephen A: ".......but at the same time, the black community has to accept some level of blame for this, b/c we're keeping the word alive everyday"

(now, he has appeased the white audience by shifting the blame partially to black folks..... and he'
s appeased the small portion of blacks who always like to be told how "we need to do better")

THAT exampe right there is SAS in a nutshell

How many black people you know discussed Trayvon Martin as a race issue. But they didn't have law degrees so fukk them. They shouldn't be allowed to speak on it. Only black lawyers.

I'm starting to think you don't actually know what "qualified" means......

Either that or you're being exceptionally dense when it's been said repeatedly that he's well within his right to speak his mind and spew whatever bullshyt he wants. Doesn't mean he's qualified to speak on issues of race in such a public forum. Everyone has their right to an opinion but that doesn't mean everyones opinion is valid or informed.
