Dude took off his
IMYhmdT.png
suit for a second and spit some truth about black coaches inheriting shytty situations that hurt the reputation of black coaches when it comes to future jobs, and white coaches inheriting brilliant situations and then getting credit for doing what any coach could have done.

Pretty much one of the focal discussion of this thread
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/can-we-keep-it-100-about-kerr-right-quick.282938/

Kerr inhering Mark Jackson's foundation and all of a sudden he's doing something so amazing when the pieces, chemistry, and camaraderie were already set. AKA, the hard work. Talent will find a way to gel eventually, the stuff I mentioned is the hard stuff.

Same thing with Dungy and Gruden.

And as the Grizz headcoach and Hollins.

Kubiak is inheriting Fox's and Peyton's Broncos. With Welker, Both Thomas' Talib, Welker, Sanders, Anderson, Von Miller and so on and so forth after being ass in Houston, and decent in Baltimore.

While Todd Bowles who's done a great job as a DC, inherits the :flabbynsick: Jets.

I don't always fukk with him, but thank God He Spoke about this.

Good Job Stephen A Smith. I can't even think of the last time I saw a minority HC inherit a team like the Warriors or the Broncos.

Only In America right :sas1:

Its true what he says but at the same time if I was a fan of an AFC west team or any other AFC team Id be happy with this hire because there's basically no chance the Broncos will go anywhere but down from here. Another average ass coach who hasn't proven shyt. He'll make the playoffs (maybe) and have a first or 2nd round exit at the latest. Sucks for the brothers getting passed up tho :yeshrug:.

I was actually suprised given kubiak's record that he was such a hot coaching commodity & on the flip side a month ago first take was debating topics on rather mike tomlin should keep his job. I also don't understand why shanny & his son keep getting jobs & interviews, it's like the same carousel.

The black/white coaching thing is a real issue in the NFL but also mediocore coaches getting looks over others is also one. A lot of the GM's feel comfortable hiring a certain person no matter their coaching record, jeff fisher who is a career .500 coach will have a job FOREVER.

I also believe the city where the coach is plays a big role, it took a lot of loosing season before denver finally told shanny he can't live off of those superbowls. The fanbase finally got tired, same thing for cincy & places where fisher has coached. Those cities aren't filled with strong people in the local media & the fanbases aren't demanding change.

SAS tells you what you want to hear just enough to keep you on his side.

Let us not forget the foolishness he's spewed out before about more IMPORTANT matters than sports. In the grand scheme, who cares if black coaches are put in bad situations when they're still making millions of dollars? One year of coaching can set you monetarily for LIFE. I don't feel sorry for any of them.

But the shady stuff SAS says that effects regular black folks, is where the problem is.
