I thought they should have hired Jackson when they hired Fisher.

But I think right now, maybe Fizdale is the better choice. The guy was an assistant coach with the Heat during their title years and had success with the Grizzlies even though that roster wasn’t great.

Only concern I have with Fizdale is whether he can run a faster paced system in NY than he did in Memphis. Not saying he needs to ignore defense but the Grizzlies in his year there did not exactly score a lot of points, and that just won’t work too well in today’s NBA.

In any case the Knicks should interview both.
