He’s right, in a sense, but this only works if you’re higher up, talented and ingrained in the culture. Basically, Stephen A’s advice wouldn’t work for those at the bottom of the food chain or your average worker.

What are you calling corporate America breh? Only the executives?? Because I’m saying what he’s insisting would work once you get to a certain level within the infrastructure. For example, what Stephen A is saying wouldn’t work as well for Brian Windhorst.

It also depends on the company you work for. If you somewhat competent, you can achieve high levels $ even as a black person. It all about your mindset. Striving to be good at your job and taking care of your job responsibilities. My mindset to my job has been protect my manager. Meaning, don't allow my manager to be blindsided by bad issues. Taking care of your projects in a timely manner. Not waiting to the last deadline day. Maybe even taking on a extra project. Im in the environmental field and I have found really good success with that strategy.
If you're in the sales field, Kevin Samuels actually has some older videos about self motivation that are extremely good.
Your Brian Windhorst example is not true. Im pretty sure Brian would agree with Steven A opinion.
