Englewood is a historic Black neighborhood the same way Bronxeville is and weighing one as more deserving on a Black outreach basis is the exact same thing as pretending Oblock represents ALL of Chicago. What it does represent though, is one of the most visible and underserved communities of Original people, housing a mural to brother that died too soon of the same politics that rule Englewood NOW. The young nikkas out there need to see him much more than they do in Pullman.

I only mention those because they are areas where black people are in need and he can enrich the area, all of it is important and can use help, i have no problem with him enriching o block but he went to brag/clout chase, to say he’s respected in one of Chicagos most notorious hoods, i could easily flip it, and say why he ain’t try to get respect in K town, or roseland, or Altgeld Gardens, what about the ikies
