i never watched It all the way through, but what i remember was pretty good

i prefer simple, more visceral stories when it comes to horror, like texas chainsaw massacre

the fukk is so funny about that breh? :birdman:

:laff:

It was just funny to me. Like the book scared the shyt outta me, but not to the point where I developed a fear of clowns. There was this lady I met once that couldn't even see a clown without completely freaking out

Um ive never read the book but someone once told me that in the book one of the boys worst nightmare was to be gay? and i guess IT or something boned one of the kids?:heh::scusthov::damn:

Is this true:ld:

That's total bullshyt. I dunno who the fukk told you that. But you should hit em with the :comeon: then the :camby:

I love IT the movie so as I kid I started to try and read it that book was so thick. Then I go to read it and it has some gay dudes getting murdered on a bridge or some shyt early in the book and I was like WTF and gave it up. I read alot of the Dark Tower series at the time though.

That part of the story was dope to me. Adrian Melon was the name of the gay guy that was murdered and the police ended up blaming the murder on some local teenage thugs. They were part of it, cause they threw the queer guy off a bridge but IT was under the bridge and ate him alive. That was always a dope part of the story to me. How come it put you off? Cause the guy was a feg?

Its funny, I was watching IT with some friends one day and they didn't like it cause they said, u barely ever see the clown or any action. I guess its one of those horror stories that is more mental than seeing gory shyt going on all the time.

It was always a great part of the story to me. Specially how Adrian's boyfriend was from Derry and he knew really ugly shyt went down in that town from time to time. But Adrian wasn't from the town and didn't know this. So he was flamboyant with his sexuality, not knowing what that could bring. It was a really interesting part of the story for me. Don't let it put you off.

if a movie goes in the direction of using a lot of dialog and dramatic acting, it had better execute very well on that, or the people who came for the clown are going to not tolerate it

i also like movies that employ a lot of visual style, like suspiria, deep red, and house. even when there is no threat on screen, these movies look beautiful or have great music

videodrome is probably my favorite horror film that has a relatively deep story with broader implications and needs a lot of set up before the action

I dunno. I think ghostly spirits like IT are way freaking scarier than some guy going around chopping everybody up.

My favourite horror movies are:

IT
The Shining
Nightmare On Elm Street

Although Nightmare on Elm Street is more of a slasher film, like the ones you like, than the other 2 mentioned.

I don't believe I've ever heard of that one. What was it about?

I also liked Insomnia by Stephen King. That was a pretty good book.

In a futuristic society, all boys at a certain age have to walk...they cannot stop, only get food and water as they walk...the minute a boy stops, he is immediately shot dead...the race is over when only one boy is left alive. No matter how long they walk, they can never stop or die..Each town in the future society does this and King was the first to write about this type of future population control/fascist society outside of George Orwell. Powerful book and will fukk with your mind
