I really think Scherzer being here and being something of a mentor, Strasburg having a terrible start, and then being told he injured, and then working his way back to form in relative anonymity has changed him. He been comfortably our best pitcher post All Star break 2015 until now. Dude has been a legit ace and one of hte best pitchers in the NL post ASG until now. This will be a bargain. Im actually stunned that Boras agreed to this deal now because I think he gets 200 million this offseason based off the start he has had, and he would be the #1 pitcher this offseason. I also thought dude didnt like it in DC. He hasnt really taken to the area like Bryce has.
