8 team practices total through the season, and that’s the Spurs. Basically 1 team practice every 10 games. I’m guessing more time spent on film than anything.

I’m sure teams have different practice schedules, but thought that was kind of interesting especially considering how many people think teams are 99% responsible for a players’ growth. I’m sure a lot of that is during the offseason.

This is why teams really want to know if a player loves their sport. There really isn’t much handholding.

You gotta be careful with how you define practice. For example he could be talking about full scrimmages, which would be accurate, teams rarely run full scrimmages.

But as far as practicing certain things on the court, yes that does take place.
