Steph's a great player, and I don't begrudge him anything, but

It didn't sit well with me how he punked out in Game 6 until the end and had to draw confidence from Klay's insane performance. I don't think his mental toughness can really be considered remotely up there with Jordan after that, or even with Kobe. I don't think he has that ferocity.

Did you miss in game 7 when he balled out in the 4th when Durant was keeping OKC in striking distance:jbhmm:

So is this what we are gonna do with every player that rises to the top of the league now? Everybody got a doctorate in psychology now huh? :francis:

Newsflash: Jordan had poor performances and instances where his teammates had to step up. Kobe most certainly did.

Russ got all the ferocity in the world and how did that work out for him?

He actually did what he supposed to do. His shot was off and he didn't just chuck. Saw Klay was hot and let Klay takeover. Then hit some daggers at the end. You'd rather him start chucking and ignore Klay like what Westbrook would do to Durant?:mjlol: And Jordan had a 3-18 game in the playoffs that his team won. Kobe shot 6-24 in a finals game 7.:francis:

Russ is a birdbrain though. I'm not saying Curry isn't an all-time great superstar. I'm saying that lapse in Game 6 was unusually bad.

That's kind of what it means to have TEAMMATES Breh. To help pick up the slack when the star is having an off night/performance

He was unusually bad for games 3 and 4 and in the 4th quarter of game 1. It happens. What's important is that he bounced back and stepped up when it matters most. Contrary to popular myth, every player, even Jordan has had struggles in the playoffs. True enough, everybody hasn't had a player like Klay to carry the load in that instance but that is why they are champions. This ain't a movie or the Fresh Prince, those other 4 guys out there actually serve a purpose.
