The pedigree with the delayed cover.... for the 3 count


Nothing was gained the from win, win or lose HHH would be same status, but booker losing sent him to euro status instead of being a top guy

My reaction when he lost the match :

That was EVERYBODY'S reaction after that win. shyt sucked the air out of the entire stadium. It took Booker years to recover from that loss. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for how the build towards the match went down. Hunter basically won clean after telling Booker for weeks that he was only good for carrying bags and entertaining.

I was gonna say the same thing, but then I remembered that shyt they did a few years later with Booker where Kurt Angle said he wanted to have Bestiality sex with Sharmell. Then they had the thing with JBL hunting Mexicans at the boarder during his feud with Eddie.


Wrestling in general seems to have no idea how to push Black faces without going down some ultra racist ass path. Only guy who's been able to avoid that is Rock.

Swear to god nearly every time they have a black wrestler that's a face in a feud and race comes up, they shoehorn in a spot they simulate a hanging with the guys neck getting caught in the ropes.

Well if you recall Eddie lost that feud with JBL too. The big difference was that Eddie didn't lose clean after all that shyt and he was the defending championing. He also didn't lost to JBL at the biggest event of the year.


Also I thought it was confirmed that Booker was supposed to win that night but HHH convinced Vince to keep the belt on him so he could "look strong" against Goldberg (even though Goldberg didn't feud with HHH till after his feud with Rock).

Booker should have got that title and that shyt turned me off of Wrestling for a while. Im glad they finally gave him a run but it didn't make up for screwing him at WM 19.
