I think what happened is this was one of those records that was just huge and one of those records that no matter how hard the artist(s) tries to duplicate it or come close to it, they just can't recapture that magic.

They caught lighting in a bottle with this joint.

But with that said, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Mike did alright after this song, they just never reached that Still Tippin' height level of creativity again

Slim Thug first album was out on The Neptunes label Star Trek and Pharrell and Chad hooked Slim up with some fire production

But the one guest feature by Mike Jones that I did like after Still Tippin was his verse on Frayser Boy's "I Got That Drank"

I went to a concert this summer that had Mike Jones and Paul Wall along with David Banner, Chingy and Lil Jon. I swear I heard Still Tippin 3 or 4 times throughout the night lol
