Got curious as to why Sting had left WCW from the fall of 98 until the spring of 99, always thought it was injury related but he was in perfect condition at HH98 so i started googling and found this :ehh:

Supposedly, Sting's hiatus from WCW in late 1998 was in an effort to save his marriage. That was when Sting became a born again Christian and saved his marriage. Dave Meltzer reported that in the process of saving his own marriage, he ended those of Lex Luger & Rick Steiner. It was said that Sting informed his wife of his cheating ways, as well as those of Rick Steiner and Lex Luger. Sting's wife informed the wives of Luger & Steiner, which led to 2 divorces. Also, Luger & Sting weren't always the best of friends. Sting's wife actually never wanted Sting around Lex, as she felt Luger was a bad influence on Sting.:ohhh:

It's ironic that I was just watching that match yesterday on the Network. It was from Halloween Havoc 99'. Nothing really stood out from the match. Bret pretty much controlled the entire match. Luger got like a minute of legit offense in towards the end and made Bret tap with a sloppy HALF Boston Crab:mjlol: It made absolutely zero sense.
