What I would've done is when they were about to jump sting after the aries match, I would've had bubba call them off and say since sting got hogan to trust him, he is a key factor in him getting the world title, so he then tosses sting a a&8 vest and they leave.
Now we don't sting on tv or ppv, he goes away, gets into shape and comes back without the facepaint and helps bubba retain the belt against jeff hardy officially joining aces and eights, then he blames hogan for this because hogan disrespected him and never took responsibility for the fact that he handed bully a title shot to begin with
Eventually sting turns on a&8, costs bully the title to aj styles or whoever and reveals he was pulling a donnie brasco and was undercover still with tna and him hulk had planned the whole thing and destroy aces and eights with the inside knowledge sting had acquired during his time with them.
