I think that’s being blown a bit out of proportion. CM Punk has been saying the same thing and with the current product there’s no way he’s coming back anytime soon
I do however think that for guys like Mox that AEW isn’t turning out to be what he envisioned. His booking is very interesting in how he only works with certain guys. He clearly avoids the flippy part of the roster
