Duuuuuvaaaaal!!
I am a major Stone Cold Stan for sure. But I had a thought while drinking and watching the network last night.
What do you think would've happened if Stone Cold extended his hands down while Hart dropped him down, to stop the pile driver? Instead of holding on and allowing himself to be injured. When he speaks about the injury, it's obvious that he knew what was about to happen and definitely could've stopped it. Would Austin have been ridiculed by the locker room and management for pulling a "bytch move" by protecting himself?
Even further, what would his career have been like had the injury never happened? Would we be in the Austin COO era now?

Damn good question. Had he put his hands down the E's main event matches would've been better and who knows how much longer he would have wrestled. Austin's hands down and Bret harts hands up on greenbergs mule kick would've drastically changez the game at that time and extended their runs.

Had a couple of bumps gone our way we would've seen some dream matches :sadcam:

I think Hhh coo was inevitable, scrambled brains wouldn't have made Austin fukk Steph :russ:

Nobody would have lost respect for him but the fact he ate the pile driver, got the W, and still had the crowd in the palm of his hand post injury just adds to his legend.
