Binge watching is dumb and is the main reason my old ass still has his cable box.
Don't get me wrong, every now and again I feel like watching a favorite show straight through, as long as I feel. But I don't understand why these streaming services still operate like a 2004 pay-per-view download service and don't have dynamic features to replicate a traditional TV-like experience. Like a "TV" or "random" mode where it plays similar programming after something. Or at least maybe some curated playlists offered by them or something. I believe Spotify has features like this for listening to new music.
I hate being stuck binge watching and have to "find" something to watch. I wish I can just put that thing on and enjoy it like old school television, and discover new shyt along the way. I can't believe how many people prefer this.
