You're lying to yourself if you believe 4 finals loses don't impact his legacy, especially if his record says at 2-4:francis:. Doesn't change that fact that he's an alltime great but it definitely affects where he finishes in the top 15. That's just a fact:yeshrug:

But his legacy is also not set in stone. He still has time to average out his finals record.

And those comparing the NFL to NBA records........... Idk what to say to you :francis:
No.

No one will give a fukk like you do now. It's like saying "I really feel the impact Joe Namath had in super bowl 3 today."

Not if ur in the easy east on a stacked team all 5 years.

I wonder how far these past 5 teams get if they're in the west. I don't even think conference finals more than twice.

The west is quickly becoming overrated. It's deeper than the east but they don't have a ton of elite contenders. Over the past 5 years who was going to beat Miami?
Clippers?:stopitslime:
Rockets?:mjlol:
Blazers?:usure:
Grizzlies?:comeon:
Lakers?:pachaha:

LeBron is 30 playing in the East. He'll be able to go to more Finals and get CLE a 'chip or two.

Kareem is considered by many to be the GOAT... Wilt obviously up there too.

wilt is still the greatest of all time

No dog. Jordan was considered the unquestioned GOAT by old niqqas WHILE he played. Do you know how hard it's to pull that off? And I'm supposed to act like Lebron is reliving that? :childplease:

Every these VCR their way to 90s young niqqas ain't giving Bron, Kobe or anyone that privilege. Yall stay giving fringe beliefs 50% of the attention. There is no overriding sentiment by any group where "most" think he's the GOAT.
All I'm saying is that it depends on the circles you run in. In younger groups there is a larger percentage of ppl who claim that LeBron is the GOAT. That's the people I talk to and associate with so that's what I react to.

Obviously no one is gonna care has much. History is forgiving. But what you're saying is winning and losing doesn't matter in the long run. If that's so why should we even argue about sports?

No. It's buklshyt. Ain't not "groundswell" or huge circle of people from folk to broadcasters calling Bron the unquestioned GOAT along the lines I saw MJ receive as a living legend that you guys have to "argue" the point that Bron isn't.

Yall are straight up giving fringe bs attention to justify that trash. Hell outta here. Isn't some huge contingent calling Bron the GOAT

You think nobody will care? If so then why is the first thing people bring up when discussing Peyton Manning in the GOAT QB argument the fact that he only has 1 ring? When discussing Kobe, once again rings comes up. Once Tom Brady won the Super Bowl this year they started comparing him to Joe Montana immediately. But again people gave Joe the nod because he never lost a championship game.

When you start discussing top 5-10 players of all time, rings ALWAYS comes up. And you talking out your ass if you say nobody is putting LeBrons name in that discsussion now.

LeBron easily a top 10 player in NBA history already, I don't think this hurts his legacy but previous loses in the finals where he was expected to win like '11 and '14 did.

So yall don't think him only having to play one or 2 series every playoff instead of the 4 he would have to play in the west

No one will care because we will be too busy caught up between the time and space where we haven't run into a player that matched the once in a generation and maybe in Bron's case, our lifetime player.

People put more stock into missing a player down the road than all of these bullshyt leGacy criterias that seem relevant now.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat this on this site
