I didn't know what to name this thread but instead used this chic's headline from POF. I was reading some POF profiles from Atlanta and came across this...the chic had a few gems and good and bad points of view. After reading her "About me" I had to ask myself if it is really this bad for sistas in ATL or society in general. Some had me laughing. See below and post your comments

When a man finds a wife he finds a good thing and obtains favor(over his life)...(i.e. a woman is a gift from God that God acknowleges and continues to breathe over u once u found her.) To find ur wife doesnt that require THIRST???
If a woman has a problem with that she probably has daddy issues or sexually assaulted to where her norm isnt even the respect from a man. But dont let that change who u r.
4th- the straight men r seeking women who wear waist trainers.. Get butt injections and alter Gods creation. Superficial. But if u love her u will suffer later when her body over the yrs rejects the alterations. Have u ever wondered if she has a waste that small where r her organs? Is that even safe? If u want a fam is she messing up her body to where she is only good to look at? Will u have to bury her sooner rather than spend ur life with her bcuz of the harm shes caused?
5Th- the norm now is a man being with a man....u have allowed the previous 4 above...how can u say u refuse the 5th...? Society/social media has dictated u this far....smh..

I agree in principle to what she's saying but I feel,as if the way we use the word "Thirst" on the Coli constitutes a behavior and mindset towards simping not hunting.


There's nothing wrong with pursuing a female. Nothing at all.

However pursuing a female who shows little to NO romantic interest in you AFTER you have made your intentions clear is the height of stupidity. Running after a woman while she's giving her attention to another is foolhardy. Why waste resources, emotions, and time over a woman who is not going to give you the time of day? When I think of a person being thirsty I think of the type of person who has already been turned down and still trying really hard to go after the person. I don't think it's a man actually pursuing a woman by calling/texting her often. To me it's the brother that can't get the hint.
