Every group, department, nation, whatever, needs a leader. Without a leader/leaders you get what we've got now...every man for himself. And a organism operating as such will never be able to defeat or even compete against organized, hive-minded organisms.

And that's another area we as black people have been ignorant too. We are in competition with hive mind groups who masquerade as individual minds. What refer to as "getting on code" is them digressing to their hive mind state when something is at stake. Reference jury's such as the Trayvon case.

We must select, vet, and protect our chosen leaders. The fact that historically we haven't been able to protect our leaders the majority of us have developed the defensive mechanism that "well we don't need one".

Nah fam, you looking at it wrong...

We all feel we need leaders, but...

How many of our leaders were murdered in cold blood? How many of our leaders sold us out for their own personal profit? How many of our leaders were betrayed by one of US?

Until we are able to come up with an active and effective solution to those problems there is no point in having a leader/figurehead for black people, not yet. Or else it will just be same ol same ol and history will repeat itself, which will further crush us mentally and break our morale once again. And that's a whole other topic right there, y'all be so focused on the physical aspect of finally overthrowing white supremacy that sometimes we forget to pay attention to all of the psychological warfare that's being used against us. One could argue that's the real battle right there.

And let's be honest... who would be our leader today as of right now? There ain't been a brother like X since and we need someone of that level of honor, respect, intelligence, charisma, integrity, and dignity to lead us. X became the embodiment of the age old damn near mythical saying of being feared and loved at the same damn time. THAT'S WHY HE HAD TO GO. I'm not even gonna pay no nevermind to whatever MSNBC cornball y'all feel can lead us as of right now.

In case y'all ain't notice this is my bi weekly "school you nikkas" post. Class is in session, give a dap and sit down and have a seat. :pachaha:

Appreciate the post.

Now it's your turn to have a seat....

You can't compete against a team as an individual.

If you're not going to follow then you either lead or gtfotw.

Blacks will forever come up short until we realize it's a team sport.

:what: why does the roles of leadership keep changing depending on race? so our blk leaders need to be at the forefront, but cac leaders can chill behind the curtain?

just admit you nikkas are wrong. there is no leader of the white community. if you had the power to remove 20 random white ppl of your choosing from earth, that still wouldnt dent white supremacy. it is about following a universal code of conduct. cacs on some hydra shyt, where yall still waiting for thr next mlk/malcolm

It's not a lie that we don't need to force leaders...

The truth is, we need to be worker ants to collectively correct dysfunction and organically people, men and women, will naturally fill out positions because of their leadership qualities.

The real lie is that we have to all be in 100% agreement about everything before proper unity can happen.

Cac leaders can afford to play the background. Their ancestor leaders kicked the worlds ass and gifted them a position of power.

Black leaders need some form of visibility to rally the troops.

Yeah we will never 100% agree on many things, that's to be expected. Also, forcing a leader isn't the route to take either.

We don't need so-called "leaders", we need more human capital for each individual black person. We need to raise our average IQ by rallying around our best and brightest minds instead of looking for ways to tear them down out of jealousy. We need to understand the value of longterm thinking and delayed gratification.

Most of all, we need to stop relying on someone else to lead us.
