When it comes to black american history I've always been curious in learning more about the "Underground railroads". From the little bit i know it sounds a lot like how Haitians, Guadeloupeans and Martiniquans had Marronage which is where runaway slaves were freeing other slaves. Thus the neg Mawon statue in Haiti. Shows the resilience of enslaved africans.

One of these days i'm gonna get off my lazy ass and take a class/pick up a book.
