This and the central park 5 story kind bring back nightmares of hearing these stories growing up...and just rethinking my surroundings as a young black boy in America.

That and rodney king...I'll never forget.

But yo...they got Paddy Duke the fukk outta hot 97 shortly after this aired. Seriously fukk Hot 97...they had him as a program director for 25 years. He was involved in the mob murder of yusef and was charged but it was a misdemeanor and expunged off his record. He came to hot 97 in 1994.This guy was in music videos with rappers and shouted out on albums.

It's disgusting to think the guy was actively involved in yusefs murder...but managed to rebrand himself and make money from black music for so many years. I'll never look at that station the same ever again.

Was finally able to sit down with my kids and watch it. So much stuff in there that had me like :ohhh: I hadn't known that Moses and Diane wasn't together like that for most of the kids' lives and separated again awhile later. And was absolutely floored at the niigga who lived in Bensonhurst and was caping for the hood. When he appeared on the screen I first thought "man, that dude spent a lot of time under the tanning machine"; there was no way I thought Bensonhurst would have any brehs living there.
