Stan wars put your guns down for 5 mins! How can the NBA get back to storylines? This would help casual viewership a ton. The product needs a revamp. This is a positive start. What else could help with this situation?

This era is all about hot takes and everyone looking for a reason to be negative.
The NBA failed when they let ring culture and Lebron vs Jordan dictate the discourse to eventually morph into what we have now.

Storylines would be dope, but the average fan isn't going to pay attention past what they can hate on a player for.

Then the NBA has to channel that negativity. They have to make the players hate the players on other teams someway. Hell if I was Adam Sliver i would play dirty and use crazy propaganda. I would be paying wives to cheat on players with their rival teams players planting false crazy rumors etc. I would puppet master the shyt out them cats:demonic:
