I always wonder what the purpose of these underground rappers making shyt like this. They ain't going to crossover with this music but at the same time they're just going to alienate the fans they so have. There's no benefit to it. Same when Gunn was rapping over all them trap beats.
I dont know Stove's discography like that so I don't know if hes made like projects that lean towards this sound but the first thing I thought of when playing the new song is this song.
The label probably wants him to go more in this direction to have a chance for a hit in their minds, but they should lean towards more left field production imo like what Push used to do all the time.
