listenin' to this 2nd album right now, which is a lot better than i remember it was the 1st couple of times i listened to it after it came out; 1 thing i can say, for as long as big boi been in the game, he ain't never slacked with the rhymes. bruh is consistent with his shyt :wow:

big boi might crack my top 5 on my favorites list

i feel like my top 5 has changed over the last year and goin' by who i listen to the most now; biggie = #1, scarface, nas, big boi, and pac

Big Boi must have a shytty delivery or something because he's just never impressed me tbh. Like I recognize his talent completely but he just doesn't do it for me on a track.

I like Turns Me On and Shine Blockas mostly for the instrumentals / Gucci's verse

maybe cause i feel like he doesn't have much personality in his verses. in the way that anyone could write and spit the same lines as him and they could still be talking about themselves.

really? :dwillhuh:

i've always felt the complete opposite. big boi always been the smooth and cool introspective playa persona to me

1 cool thing about him too, his voice has never faltered either. his voice still sounds just as great as it did in the 90's, a different flow but he's switched it up a bit and found ways of keepin' it interestin' :wow:

Always thought he was dope.

He's Outkast's Malik B. Obviously a dope MC, but in a group with a phenomenally talented partner. So he's gonna get overlooked. My list is heavy with greats at the top though, so I'm not sure where I'd have him. But dude's a legend.
