Flyers advertising a ‘Straight White Guy Festival’ have ignited controversy.
The posters have been scattered around Ohio, US, and invite people to ‘celebrate our enjoyment of being straight white males’ at a park that has hosted gay pride events.
It is due to take place on September 20 and encourages guests of all ages to attend.
Regardless of its authenticity, the adverts have sparked a debate about whether or not such a festival should be allowed to take place.
Many have reacted with outrage. But some say these organisers have just as much right to celebrate their sexuality as anyone else.
