Salute that label for the grind they put up. They really do put other labels to shame. They also released a few EPs as well.

A common complaint was their music used to all sound the same but now they've diversified the label with different artists and producers. Their album booklets remind ofold no limit albums as they have a seperate booklet with just ads of upcoming albums.

when i read that article in the xxl a couple years ago i was astonished to see how much doe they make and the grind tech has with that other dude...its amazing..

They had a great 2011 too that went completely unnoticed. Every release in the OP is good to great IMO. Not one weak effort. That's pretty impressive. Can't wait to peep Kali's new joint on Tuesday. Dude has been getting better and better. Him and Tech are a nasty ass 1-2 punch.

The thread title is MISLEADING....I deal with a alot of independents and I tell ya it's a bunch of run of da mill repetitive expendable bullshyt

STRANGE MUSIC has been winning cause it offers a UNIQUE PRODUCT.......a product that's not only different but entertaining...

Krizz Kaliko , Brotha Lynch and Tech 9ine have a cult following that is well fed, cause they know their not gonna find talent like this elsewhere

where as most of the indys are for the most part divided into two catergories these days....

unsigned street based TRAP RAPPERS or unsigned underground Neo-Soul influence 9th wonder retro hip hop backpackers....

STRANGE MUSIC's has a niche market and basically has cornered that market cause nobody can compete with them art wise....

not too mention they were always mass marketing their shyt and were early on that digital wave.......

Alot of indys aren't doing that

yeah its a bit misleading but i felt i had to have an eye catching thread title just to get anybody to even click the page. we live in an age of sensationalism

Well obviously, but still doesn't mean its good quality music. Plus that just makes you a boring factor real quick.
