There's probably an argument for this type of content being censored. Chris Hedges, an intellectual I tend to respect and agree with, has been making arguments suggesting that hard-core pornography as a commercial product is more about degradation and sadism than artistic expression.

I've never been terribly swayed by his arguments about porn, but I think there's a point.
