Honestly I'm not a fan of white, great defender and hustler tho, he's too timid of a player

Nah, with LA not demanding the ball like he usually does and DeRozan looking to facilitate more, he'll learn to be aggressive. We saw it in the bubble. Right now though, his defense is really all we need (we've been getting down 7-10 points consistently in first quarters this month). I think that changes with his defense in the lineup. Lonnie's a much better athlete, but his bball IQ is still lacking.

Decent effort but caught the L. Couldn’t get stops when needed last night. Derrick looked solid. I hope him being back puts more pressure on Lonnie and DEjuante to tighten up their games because one of them is likely to lose minutes to Derrick if they not focused.

Bruh, they always ended up with LMA defending a pick and roll. And we gave up bucket after bucket. Pop had to stop playing LMA halfway through the 3rd but the damage was already done. Glad to be done playing the Grizz.

I turned the game off in the 3rd quarter. Just checked the final score on ESPN. Pleasantly surprised :russ:

Gotta see the highlights to see if it was a product of Wolves tank or actual decent play by the Spurs. :patrice:

Edit: The first 3 1/2 quarters were forgettable. Let's just focus on the good part of the game...

Man it’s clear that LMA is the problem on the starting unit, as far as defense goes. His lack of lateral mobility more than cancels out all his rim protection.

Demar is doing more than his part to work with the young guys. Patty is hitting shots from deep and playing pesky defense. Rudy is doing decent enough on defense to warrant his one on one possessions. But for the old guys, LMA is almost unplayable at times on the defensive end. I would rather start Poetll than LMA at this point.

At this point, there's no use in starting him. Don't see his trade value improving at all between now and the deadline. I think he's going to end up simply walking :francis:

This team is so much better without LA. I really hope Brian Wright and Pop can find someone to take him off our hands. Only way I'd keep him is if he agrees to a bench role or reduced minutes.

Dejounte with a hell of a game. Dude has really put the work in with Chip on his jumper and its paying off.

Demar tried to choke the game away by rushing up shots late in the 4th instead of milking some clock smh.

I can't be too mad at Demar. Dude had been clutch the past few games in the 4th closing shyt down. I'll treat it as a heat check (reminded me of the game we lost against Houston when he went head up against PJ Tucker).

The only way we get LMA shipped off is if we take a bad contract or we dump him off to a team with salary to kill. Boston's trade exception comes to mind as well (if we could get a future first for him). I could see them wanting another big who, while he gets PNR'd to death, would help them against Philly.
