Where my Ratchets @? Did everyone think that street harassment would end at Black men? If anything this is more of a target for black women than it is for Black men. shyt if black males are perceived to be a threat by the dominant society, hell they will just kill them, their is already enough black men in jail, it seems like they got that part on lock.

Cat calling really isn't a threat, MEN IN GENERAL, know when to approach females. Men RARELY go out of their way to hollar at random women they don't know, and those men that do go out of their way to talk to strange women, most likely have game enough to handle the situation if it goes sour.

RARELY do men, IN GENERAL, go out of their way, to talk to a random, strange women, and then proceed to harass them if they don't get what they want.

So they can lock Black men up for everything under the son, but you think this campaign is for black men? Wake up black women! where are the other races of women sharing their stories about black verbal harassment?

Street harrassment is real and I think you dudes are purposely being deceptive in failing to acknowledge that fact. The thing is though, from my personal observation, for what its worth, I see a lot of this stuff from black men, especially at the local mall here. Dudes just hanging out at the mall hollering at chicks which in itself if you come correct, isn't an issue. However, I noticed these dudes get angry when they don't get the response they wanted or when they do try to holler they come off as lechereous instead of trying to woo the woman.

Funny enough though, i've heard a lot of women say they get this more from mexican men too. So who knows and it occurrs in all cultures and among all races. Hell, at my job, I've had female indian offshore employees say that they are not comfortable walking alone over there because they either get catcalled or harrassed and in the worst circumstances, in danger of rape.
