The obvious problem here that should be apparent to everyone is the difference in power dynamics. I dont think a tall, striking, well built man like this feels the exact same physical vulnerability that a woman does when shes randomly approached. Plus we never saw anything resembling a man or woman trailing this guy for blocks and blocks like the original street harassment vid. The original video was an average looking woman appropriately dressed, this guy was not so average. Skews the results.
Women are pretty clear that its the ever present threat of physical retribution, that causes anxiety when approached on the street by a random cat. What do y'all get out of being tone deaf to that? What are the numbers concerning female on male rapes, and female on male random assaults versus the other way around? Would you like it if some of you 5'5 niccas were being followed for blocks n blocks by some Terry Crews sized gay niccas?
Just annoying this psychology of being hostile to other people's very real concerns.
