Detroit brehs, how was Mac Dre received out there during his run?

Mac Dre had a base out here, was more lowkey though compared to other midwest areas I would say, cats knew who he was via the affiliations with other bay area artist he worked with. I have fam in Vallejo so I knew who he was/was up on his stuff. Compared to other bay area artists he wasnt bumped at that level. That would have probably increased had he lived.
