Few days ago my boy Nick showed me a video of this dude killing a freestyle on Sway in the morning. It came out close to 3 years ago, he was 17 at the time.

Nearly a year ago he had a back & forth with Ebro that was kind of hard to watch. Not sure if that was a good look for him.

Apparently, the youngin' also an actor.

He just came out with a track and video in March. Stupid fresh/dope IMO. Not sure if it was intended, but if so it was a nice shoutout to Pharacydes "Drop".

Haven't heard anything else, I'll try to dive in soon. Sounds like he has many styles. Did the coli already know about Stro? What's the word?

He got his shot when LA Reid signed him off one of them prime time talent shows.

Kid is destined to be locked in someones writing pool/concentration camp. He doesn't have the charisma to be big himself.

The thing is...

In my opinion, Joey Bada$$ hasn't proven himself, and yet, dude has a decent following. Now, I'm not saying he hasn't put in work (interviews, concerts, shows, features, music, etc), but to me, he isn't this charismatic star nor has he dropped a record that made people universally go :ohhh:

So I think if Joey could still maintain an audience, so should this young spitta. No?

I don't disagree with any of that but where is Bada$$'s career really at though in the grand scheme of things? Niche fan base, he's not that big of an artist :manny:
