i'm in the city of orlando and i was a little bit worried when a ton of the models were predicting irma coming straight up the middle of the state and fukking us with no lube. now the models have shifted it eastward after it makes landfall in south florida and it's looking like i'll be spared any out of the ordinary winds for my area. a cold front that's developing in minnesota could potentially come through and make it even better, but i'm still keeping my fingers crossed because this far out shyt can change for good or bad the next few days. that's why i watch these hurricane paths and don't panic or relax a week before potential landfall because even if they're originally projected to be outside of your area they can shift and vice versa.
best of luck to my south florida family (got quite a few), brehs and brehettes. i hope they evacuate if they need to.
