Fun and exciting boils down to personal experiences. I didn't say anything about you being bored so that means you were bored. I'm just saying that every situation is as fun as YOU make it. Who cares if you constantly meet shytty people. Find a way to entertain yourself and youre good man.

:hhh: you implied it

entertain yourself among idiots in squalor :ehh: very lofty aspirations

We also live in an era of artifice and vanity. People like to armchair diagnose themselves as pseudo-autistic savants: completely unemotional creatures who are plagued by the drama of being too smart to be happy.

:comeon:
Cop outs abound.
Why do we associate true intelligence with unhappiness? It's intellectual laziness.

Life isn't just one-sided. There is just as much good and enduring beauty in the world as their is darkness.
True genius doesn't wait on the sun to come out. It creates the light and loves the dark for the inspiration therein.

A lot of us are stuck in this perpetual adolescent phase of faux depression simply because we're so wrapped up in venting about how bad our world is to escape the work we could do to change it.

Having a depressing outlook on life doesn't mean ur a genius.
(Not saying that u aren't one b/c u very well could be.)
But don't fall into the emo trap.

Depression can create false illusions about one's sense of self and one's entire outlook on life. If you have an enlighten spiritual, physical and mental connection to this world, you would also be aware of the patterns behind the gloom; essentially this dystopian world that we live in would mimick the stars in space and not the black holes.
