Studio vs real gangsters. Who were the best rappers?

The...

  • Studio gangsters made the best songs even though they were perpetrating and faking

  • Real gangsters lived their lyrics and I always wanted to hear fresh 16s recorded on jail phones

When the lines between art and the streets get blurred strange things can happen. As you sit alone in your four corner room staring a screen answer this:

Studio vs real gangsters. Who were the best rappers?

studio gangsters hands down. Then again the definition of gangster is subjective anyway. The whole concept counter-productive.

Yeah, its pretty wild how no one expects Pacino to really flip bricks but rappers had to live their lyrics which in turn causes death whilst people say "Its just entertainment" and the rest.

Makes you wonder how many bodies have dropped due to your favorite rappers pen back when and who gets the karmic bill for those deaths, if there is such a thing. Interesting though experiment when it comes to knowing the ledge.

I could give AF either way. I fukk with king von and he was a serial killer FR FR. shyt doesn't influence me either way. There are plenty on here who get off to that type of porn. Good for them.

Above the fray.
Rapping, lyricism, and storytelling is an art form.

Because of their ages, and the areas they are from , I'm sure Kool G Rap and Scarface dabbled in the streets. Not kingpins or on trial for murders or any of that shyt. But around it enough to write songs that paint vivid stories about street life.
Ones that appeal to dudes from that life and just regular rap fans.

Yep, it really is quite strange like I said. People wanted (expected?) real life WWF from those that push a pen then go flip bricks, insert bullets and such things. Now we have people actually doing that for real then talking about it on FM.
