The most common natural hairstyles worn by many black women is the afro, which is considered to be the most undesirable by the women of the black community. The hair is described as matted and coarse, and it can also be considered inappropriate for a business setting. Many employers would consider the look to be untidy, and some even ban individuals from wearing their hair in that style.
