I remember this guy claiming that these jewelers basically work these rappers.

They buy shytty old watch frames and put low quality diamonds in them, still real diamonds, just shyt watches that ain't authentic.

Seeing how most artists who trip over jewels don't know shyt about them really... sounds about right.

Just came in from a night on the town i swear i saw so many knockoff belts, imitation designer shades, and cubic zirconium ice. Too busy pretending to look rich instead of actually getting rich. And the funny thing is the people who have the money like that dont even stunt. Even if they were real they are depreciating liabilities and a waste of money. Real rich people dont wear their money, they invest it.

Maybe people are actually being smart, there's so many hungry people out there these days, that will rob your ass for that watch. How would you feel if you lost a 50k watch, when you could pay maybe 3-400 for one that 9/10 people wouldn't catch.

I don't think most people would know the value from a watch by looking at it.

Unless you're getting diamonds and stuff on it, who can really tell the difference between a $70 quartz Timex watch, and a $400 mechanical Seiko watch?
A super expensive watch, to me is like a Patek Philippe. I don't think they even sell a watch under $20,000.
