I don't have it my African queen, your dream lives on.
You're trying, but no. First of all, systematic wage discrimination will always come into play as long as racism and sexism are a thing. I'm sure the former you have no problem admitting, its the latter you struggle with. Second, its just as possible to assume Black women are earning MDs and degrees in web design in those situations where Black women aren't in IR. Yet, that doesn't stop any of you from busting into the conversation to presume how worthless the degrees we are getting are. Ask yourself what would make you guys presume worth in one instance, and not in the other?
You last sentence is true in general, but not here. This is not a female friendly site, lest alone Black female friendly lol.
Admit that Black women earn upwards of 65% of all degrees in the Black community. Admit that Black women marry Black men at a 94% rate. Admit that the far fewer pool of Black men who earn degrees often use it to parlay themselves into the beds of white women. Do all that and then ask someone to prove that Black women marry down educationally when they marry Black men, brehs![]()
Funny, my first post in this thread hinted at exactly this. This is exactly what you all say in any other situation in which Black women's educational attainment is brought up. It is only in this thread, where white men are being brought into the fold, that Black women's education and what those degrees mean has been entirely flipped on its head. You all are proving my point.
When it comes to comparing Black men and Black women's educational attainment, you don't hesitate to remark how Black women are supposedly getting crappy degrees. This is what you did when you saw my post you quoted presenting the facts: Black women absolutely dominate as the degree holders earned within the Black race.
However, in this thread, the entire basis of people like Poitier posting a study about educational attainment in INTERracial relationships, was to pretend as if Black women are financially supporting white men in order to marry out. He has zero basis to say this because systemic wage discrimination against Black women makes this highly unlikely, especially in comparison to white men. In fact, even taking income out of it, in any other situation he'd gladly boast about how worthless the degrees we get are and many of you adamantly believe what we do educationally as women doesn't mean we 'deserve' any type of man. Now it is being used to say white men have traded up by marrying BW whose degrees you consider worthless and irrelevant in every other discussion concerning marriage and relationships
Do you understand howpatheticsee through that is? It becomes very obvious that you all just say whatever needs to be said in the moment that denigrates Black women the most. It is precisely what happens, and the evidence of such on here is astronomical.
Considering my english is better than yours and I majored in it, you should just sit down if you can't retort.Do you not understand English?

Nothing pertaining to the argument I presented, yet tried to state it was false, then stayed quiet when evidence was presented. shhhh just shhhhh.posted multiple sources stay mad![]()
You quoted me like a week ago but I'm just now signing in.
My response, who cares? Even if it is true (it's not), WHO CARES? You cannot control it.
I'm busy trying to get my level up.
There are surely any number of exceptions to all of these rules of attraction, but generally, people get with those on a similar level. If you funny or have an amazing personality, or are incredibly good looking, or incredibly rich, or meet the right person in the right setting...or blah blah blah, things will be different for you.
Get out of this negative feedback cycle. Go out, work out, talk to people and see that the world opens up man.
