it's an exaggeration but it's why you have terms like "white trash". Even the "white" undesirables have their own little special class of trashy people who are less scary than "blacks". When you apply the color code anybody "white" is going to be attributed all kinds of wonderful qualities and associations that may have not been earned. Things like purity, spirituality, LIGHT.

On the opposite end anything associated with the color or concept of "black" is going to evoke PRIMAL fear. It's in our genes to be afraid of the the DARK/night/absence of light. We were afraid of "black" when were were technically all African.

When you frame it in this way there can be no equality even amongst the "trash".

Sheesh, great post my dude

I'm not feeling it because when someone white hears it they'll try to use it as an excuse to say nikka. As much as I like SP don't think he's not trying to "expand his fan base" off this if you know what I'm saying.

That's the salient point, but those types of white people are saying it whether they hear this song or not. I'm white and I know better but unfortunately there are plenty of white people who don't know better or they don't care. I don't love that aspect of the song but I felt the same way about the nas joint too. Stupid white people will find a reason to be shytty regardless of how much ammunition they have. Doubt that's news though.

What makes anybody a nikka?

This isn't what is written, it's what is accepted when you have no definition of self outside of the context of white supremacy.

I've never seen a white man, or a black man in the literal sense. So that means we are now delving into the word play rather than reality and the color code is easily one of the most powerful tools of the (slave) trade.

:mjlol:

"reality" is a vague concept. people define it with the help of what they accept as "true", please do not forget most are bound by social norms and "white supremacy", historically, generally speaking, dictates/dictated and/or influenced a lot of current societal beliefs, consequently, this quote: "There is no hiding the fact that you are black, and you will always be judged by that no matter what you do" becomes "reality".

there are no "white nikkas".

Perception is reality. It isn't that vague when you consider that the things you accept as truth are paramount in how you experience life and what you gravitate to.

In other words you have a choice. If the media tells you that black men are an endangered species and that there are more black men in prison than in college (something that a lot of people ran with) and you accept it as truth based on "social norms" that reinforce that notion you will live and perceive your self in relation to that concept accordingly.

Many people accept "realities" influenced by societal beliefs that make no fukking sense, only to attempt to fight the very thing they have reinforce with their belief systems. Investing into illusions is a choice.

"nikkas" are getting game run on them to keep them in reality boxes that are custom fit for white supremacy and mental slavery. You aren't bound to anything but universal law.

there are no "white nikkas".

There are no "black nikkas" either.

If "nikka" is simply to be used as synonymous with "black" in the context of this culture we might as well slap the ER on the end and fully accept the "reality" of how we see ourselves and what has been given (not created) to us as our lot in life.
