:dahell: When was Eve signed to Aftermath?! I don't remember that.

Bruh, how are you in your late 30’s and not remembering anything from the 2000’s era? :mjtf:
All of Eve's albums were Ruff Ryders' releases & Ruff Ryders was the crew she claimed & associated with. How am I supposed to know she was signed to Aftermath at 1 point before I started following Hip-Hop, when she didn't make any noise with Aftermath & Aftermath records itself hadn't made any noise yet?

Hip hop magazines, tv and radio

VH1 use to have a show called Driven and they would do short documentaries on artists and on there it was talked about

She was on the cover of XXL magazine with Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes and The Game in 2004

Come on my nikka

You act like you was in a cave or something

Philly
Eve has a little lets say "history".

We all know she used to be a stripper but did you know Joey Merlino the Philly Mob Boss was on VLAD. During his interview he mentioned managing a Rapper and being called to a Philly hotel because a group of rappers(guys) were smoking weed in the hotel room and were getting in trouble. Anyway he went there and saw in the room the guys and a chick wearing a bikini/thong that chick was Eve. She even spoke to him about rapping.

I swear true story he would not have made that up. Eve was on that hoooo train!! :bryan:
RAM Squad was the group. The were the biggest thing in Philly mid-late 90's and were backed by Skinny Joey. Whenever you see old clips of Joey giving out turkeys in the hood, that's who he was with. They're probably the only rappers that could ever say they ran Philly, because they were major in the streets. But Tommy Hill from RAM Squad been said he used to mess with Eve, Charli Baltimore....well it was known, but they were kids...early 20s..and Even was probably 18-19 around this time

Reggie Wright made an interesting point. Said she probably really meant Jimmy Iovine.

Remember how they didnt wanna deal with Suge then but i dont THINK Eve ever had issues with Dre, esp in 2001 when he produced one of her biggest hir.

So why did she say Dr Dre? :dahell:

She clearly says that despite that hit, this happened. Read the first three sentences of the article. She wasn’t dropped by interscope, she just changed labels within interscope. And nobody in the world is mistaking Jimmy for Dre
