Senior year, high school, home muthafukkin stretch, smack dab in the middle of the muthafukkin bay. nikkaz mobbin anything with an engine in high school. Bucket Buicks, LTD's, astro vans, station wagons, Toyota cressida dope fiend rentals. School parkin lot, 7-11, at every red light this is what you heard, all everybody was talking about.:ooh:

Muthafukkaz out here didn't give a fukk what/who was popular in the rest of the country during this time 40 was the fukkin man.

Some of yall gotta understand Captain Save A Hoe was a movement, an institution. That blueprint was the hustla code, war cry to NEVA compromise, play ya soul, integrity for/over a hoe.

That song was an influence. So by the time In A Major Way was about to drop the buzz wss INSANE out here. The very first single that got radio n video play out here was 1 Luv. A dedication to all ya potnas and fam who was locked up. But that second single Sprinkle Me, thats that shyt that went nationwide. Sideways and Dusted n Disgusted were that last two singles to get rotated.

Man I done turned into my pops goin back in time re tellin this rap shyt like he used to do with soul n rnb.:flabbynsick::mjlol:

This was the one of the 1st songs I heard before the album was released... :blessed:

About a month or so later I saw the sprinkle video on tv and I was like:usure::scust::snoop:

I really thought Jive Records was trying to sabotage my Sahob :mjcry:...

I ended up going to the album release party and heard them back to back tracks and I regained my faith in 40 water:ohlawd: That was a sizzlin summer for the Bay Area
