Summerslam Plans For The Undertaker

At this time, there is talk of The Undertaker and Kane teaming up to take on The Shield at SummerSlam. Undertaker was recently written off TV following a beat down by The Shield. The company would like to run some form of payoff angle and feel that the Summerslam PPV would be the best place to do that.

Nothing is written in stone at this time, WWE isn't sure if The Undertaker will be ready to go. It was reported on Monday that Undertaker is scheduled to get surgery on his right shoulder and his left hip, and has promised to be ready for WrestleMania XXX.

I can understand protecting Taker's Wrestlemania streak forever. I got no problem with him going over anybody and everybody at Mania.

But having him and Kane go over The Shield on any other show, even SummerSlam, is bad booking. The Shield need that big-stage win a lot more. Taker going over on that show accomplishes nothing.
