I was thinking a few minutes ago about who would actually win the NFL's championship this year. After contemplating for a few minutes (not going to act like I went to look up stats or anything like that), I came to the conclusion that the NFC is where the champs will reign this year. My thoughts first went to a saying you hear all of the time "Defense wins Championships". I began to think about who has the most hard hitting and intimidating defenses in the league today. I though of all NFC teams before even one AFC team came to mind. Seattle, when playing at home, might have the best defense at this point especially when paired with their crowd noise. San Francisco has been building their young defense for a few years and it came up as a force last year. Carolina has a defense that's really coming together this year, especially since the middle linebacker can hit anybody any way he wants :lolbron:and the refs don't say nada. New Orleans has had better defenses, but still are hard to deal with in the Superdome. Detroit has a scary front line and will be hard for anybody to deal with.

The teams that are really contending in the AFC have defense, especially Denver and New England, but if I was a NFC team lining across from them in the Superbowl there's no intimidation factor to me.
