Pretty much everything they showed in the trailer was new shyt
Not having slopes were the biggest complaint of the original game so of course they showed that first in the trailer
Water in non-water levels
On-off switches
Super Mario 3D World template
And probably the biggest thing, it seems Mario isn't the only playable character this time. Luigi is on the box art with the frog suit on

I didnt even realize all those things were missing because of how robust the game is.
