So many different forms that present different bioavailability paths too.

My favorite right now is Nootropics Depot's TauroMag for sleep, and MagTein dring the daytime. Oh, and some mag-glycinate for sleep too occasionally for a lil razzle dazzle :wow:

The Truth
I’m sure I got a supplement around here with magnesium in it and I know I used to take ZMA (Zinc-Magnesium-B6) when I was seriously weightlifting but it’s been years and I didn’t remember if side effects help sleep/mood.

Doesn’t mean it didn’t help that at the time. Subscribing to the thread and might have to try it out alone.

I take Magnesium L-Threonate basically every night. Apparently helps with learning.

I don’t notice anything, but over the counter supplements that improve “brain function” can be subtle so I take it simply for the fact research says it works.

I know it has calming/sedating effects for some but that shyt is stimulating for me so I just take it with whatever caffeine I'm taking during the day.

Im going to look this up tonight. The one i take is Magnesium Citrate bc its mixed with citric acid...kind of tastes like a lemon head candy. When i take it during the day it relaxes me a lil too much so im playing with different dosages

Facts, magnesium glycinate changed my sleep game instantly.
I have been taking magnesium glycinate for a while. The 200mg pills can be annoying.

But magnesium and creatine are staples. Everyone should be taking creatine whether they train or not.

I’ll sometimes get a big bag of citrulline malate which helps blood circulation during training. But I don’t need it. Not sure if it helps a ton.

I think zinc is kind of overrated.
